When I started learning photography in the late 1990's, it was before the digital boom. I enjoyed film, especially B&W but it was a very slow learning curve. The instant feedback of digital really made it possible for me to learn about exposure and light. Now I have started experimenting again with film, using what I have learned, always learning more. I anxiously await the delivery of my prints now. I save it for those times when I can slow down and work with intention. It is a really immersive experience. I am excited to add this back into my toolkit. More to come.
The images below were shot with a Canon 35mm camera and Ilford HP5 film.
